How often do we constantly sit back and look at everything that is going wrong in our lives. I know I do. All the time. My mom always say that if I don't have something to stress about, I will find something to stress about. I don't know if it is the cliche of 'it goes back to your childhood' and all of that because I know good people, who were brought up in a decent home, however still feel stressed, anxious, depressed.
We all have out demons to bear, we all have the should of, would of, could of. But life is unclear, its uncertain and that is seriously stressful to anyone. Whether you are rich or poor or in the middle.
But acknowledging your stress, anxiety and depression is half the battle. The next part of the battle is doing something about it. It is not easy by no means, I for one, am not event 2 steps into making changes in my life that I know will help me (which would inevitably help those I love).
Self care is important, so start small, look in the mirror in the morning when you are brushing you teeth. Acknowledge 1 thing. Just 1 thing about yourself that you like. It could be your eyes, your smile, even something small as your finger nails. But do it for you and not anything else or anyone else.
Google does a course called #IAMREMARKABLE! It's really great! But something you need to keep on top of otherwise like most things, if you don't practice is everyday.. You lose the skills.
Keep at it. Keep doing what you are doing. It may take a day, or a week to a month, even a year but it will happen if you let it. Invite positivity into your life and like a flower you will start to bloom. Be your TRUE HAPPY SELF.
